Well, that’s exactly the reason you should rent, in our view. Buying a piece of equipment is only the start of the expense. The price might look attractive and you’ll certainly get a year’s warranty. But after that, you’ll be responsible for all repairs and maintenance. Of course, you can take out an extended warranty, but already the costs are beginning to creep up.
Then what happens if your needs change and the machine is no longer suitable for your laundry volumes – you need to start again. That always pre-supposes you have the capital on hand to purchase outright and if you do, wouldn’t the capital be better spent on other projects?
