Miele launch New Commercial Dryers with Energy Efficient Heat Pump technology

Miele are renowned for using innovative technology in their industrial and commercial laundry equipment. Their latest offering is the use of heat pump technology in the drying process.

Cooling and dehumidifying air releases energy which is captured and used to per-heat cold, dry air. Compared with conventional vented dryers and traditional condenser dryers this approach can reduce energy consumption by up to 60%.

The heat pump range of tumble dryers offer you the following advantages when compared to vented, condenser tumble dryers:

• No requirement for inlet or exhaust ducting, hence keeping the cost of installation low.
• No noise or odour emissions
• Can be sited in rooms without an outside wall
• Up to 60% energy saving over traditional dryers. Thanks to the high energy savings, the capitalisation period for the added cost of a heat pump dryer is short.
• Low energy inputs where the electrical power available is limited.
• Improved garment care, particularly of delicate fabrics, as drying temperatures are significantly reduced.

Available in three models, the Miele PT5137WP (load capacity 6.5kg), the Miele PT8257WP and the Miele PT8337WP (Load Capacity 10 to 16 Kg).
